A message to regular Ryuganji readers
Posted on Thursday, 24 January 2008 at 7:33 am
A belated Happy New Year to everyone who stuck with Ryuganji in 2007. You might have noticed that the site’s been deathly silent of late, and it’s because I had to rush back home to New Zealand at the beginning of last week to help look after my dad who is starting to lose his battle against cancer. Although his condition has improved considerably in the last few days, obviously I’ve no idea how long it’s going to take so I’ll be here for the next few weeks at least. I’ve resumed posting links to other sites’ articles in the meantime, but I doubt I’ll be able to write any ‘original’ posts for a while yet. I have decent internet access now though, so feel free to contact me.

The others have said it above. Don’t worry about the site. Just take care of your Dad. Here’s wishing him a safe and continued recovery.

Don,
Lost my dad 2.5 years ago so I can somewhat relate to your situation. While your website is great, forget about it. Family is what matters. What you need to focus on is him, you and the rest of the familiy, but you’ll be fully aware of that. Anyway, may I wish you, your dad and all of his loved ones all the strenght in the world.

We are thinking of you here in Austin and hope for the best. Life certainly is a winding road and hard to predict, bless the seconds and time we do get with those we love and care for.

Don,
Sorry to hear that news. I hope your Dad pulls through this rough time. The movies’ll still be here when you get back.
Best,
J
